April is National Fair Housing Month, marking a time for the real estate industry to observe and recognize the passing into U.S. law the Fair Housing Act in 1968. The law prohibits ownership, rental, or financing discrimination due to race, color, religion, nationality, gender, disability, and family status.
For Michael Saunders & Company, the meaning of what the Fair Housing Act upholds is reflected in our values of integrity, excellence, communication, and mutual profitability to serve every member of our community with the best experience we can provide. As the local market leader, we take this responsibility seriously.
We are proud to honor the Fair Housing Act every day, with every property and each customer. Inclusivity, equality and fairness are at the heart of each of our agent’s businesses. Our beautiful Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte counties wouldn’t be what they are without diversity and the Fair Housing Act.
